A: What did you do in the holidays? 

B: Well, I did a lot of different things, but my favorite thing was when I went to a museum in Liverpool with my dad, it's called the World Museum. It's one of five big museums in the city. I think it's over 150 years old. 

A: But wasn't it a bit boring? 

B: Well, at first, I didn't want to go there. 

A: But the World Museum is brilliant. It's a bit like time traveling when you go from room to room and you see things from different countries in the past.

B: Cool. Just like that film.

A: Yeah, that's right. First, we visited the Egyptian part of the museum, and we explored the different rooms for a long time. We were in there for nearly three hours. The Egyptian mummy is a brilliant. Some of them are more than 2,000 years old. 

B: Sounds really good. I think perhaps I like it there. 

A: Yes, yes, I'm sure you would. Then after that, we went to the Roman part of the museum, and we listened to a talk by an important guide. He talked for about twenty minutes, but he wasn't boring. He was really funny. Then we had lunch. There are two cafes and we went to the one called the coffee shop. 

B: Great. And what did you do in the afternoon? 

A: Well, we went to the shop and I found a cool DVD about dinosaurs. But by fine, my dad and I were really tired, so we left and went home.

B: Sounds like a great day.

A: Yeah. It was.
