Bali is a wonderful destination for a vacation.

A lot of visitors go to Bali for their vacations every year. You can enjoy the white sand beaches, take photos, and meet friendly local people. You can also go on cycling tours, scuba diving, and even snorkeling. Bali is one of the most beautiful islands in Indonesia. You can go there by boat or by plane. You should not go there between October and March because it is very rainy. Between April and October are the best times to visit Bali, during the dry season. You can also go to the international Film Festival in Bali every September.

If you get the chance, you should spend your vacation in this beautiful place.

THE NOTTING HILL CARNIVAL

You can enjoy the Notting Hill Carnival in London every August. Local people celebrate Caribbean culture on this festival. There are big parades in the streets. There's also Caribbean food. People wear colourful costumes. They also play music and dance. It's noisy, but it's also friendly. I don't usually wear a costume, but I always watch the parades and dances. I like this celebration because it's a lot of fun.

A Famous Festival in Vietnam

In Vietnam, people celebrate many different festivals each year. The biggest festival in Vietnam is Tết. This celebrates the beginning of the Lunar New Year. Vietnamese people have to prepare a lot for this festival. Before Tết, people buy fruits and flowers from the market and decorate their houses. Most people buy a special tree with lots of flowers. In the north of Vietnam, people buy peach trees with pink flowers. In the south, people buy apricot trees with yellow flowers. Everyone cleans their house before Tết. This is very important because you shouldn't clean it during Tết. During Tết, people visit their family and friends. Few people go to school or work. Children wear new clothes and get lucky money. It's a great time to watch lion dances and fireworks. Everyone is happy and excited about the New Year. Vietnamese people love to celebrate this festival.

Chuseok- Korean Thanksgiving Day

Chuseok is one of the most important holidays in South Korea.

This festival lasts three days and it starts on the fifteenth day of the eighth lunar month. Before Chuseok, people go back to their hometowns to spend time with their families as well as their friends. In the morning of the first day of Chuseok, people wear hanbok and visit their older family members. During Chuseok, they eat traditional foods like songpyeon (rice cakes) and jeon (pancakes). Korean people also play many traditional games and activities during their Thanksgiving holidays. Traditional games like talchum (mask dancing), ganggangsullae (circle dancing), and ssireum (wrestling) are popular during Chuseok.

This is one of the biggest holidays in South Korea.
